About Us

Kia ora. We are Tania and Hayley, the owners of Tarnz & Hailz creatioNZ. We are cousins, born and raised on the east side of Christchurch, New Zealand. Following the earthquakes of 2010 and 2011 we made the decision to leave Christchurch and now both reside in Brisbane, Australia. We are both of Māori descent. Tania of Tainui iwi. Hayley of Ngāi Tahu iwi. Although away from Aotearoa now, we have a love and pride for our country and culture and have incorporated this into many of our pieces. Our business was first established in early 2020 during the Covid19 Pandemic where Tania designed and created masks for our Indigenous, Polynesian and Maori community. We have since joined together to expand our collection and grow our business further. We are very whānau oriented so are thrilled to be on this journey together.
